Who we are
TekVwa Ltd. operates TekVwa Properties in Nigeria. This Privacy Policy supplements the technical summary returned by our /api/legal/summary endpoint and should be read alongside the Terms & Conditions.
Legal basis
We process personal data in line with applicable Nigerian law including the Nigeria Data Protection Act (NDPA) 2023 and the Nigeria Data Protection Regulation (NDPR) 2019, for purposes such as account administration, tenancy-related communications, analytics we disclose, fraud prevention, and legal obligation.
Data we collect
- Account data: name, email, phone, role, hashed password.
- Identity onboarding: identifier type codes and identifiers you submit during verification flows.
- Property & listing content including images you upload.
- Messages exchanged on the Platform.
- Payment initiation metadata handled by Paystack (we store references and statuses as coded in our database).
- Technical data: cookies/sessions essential for login, logs as configured.
Sharing
We use payment processors such as Paystack who act under their policies. Broad user directory APIs mask national ID fragments (see backend); admin verification queues may expose full identifiers only where operationally necessary.
Rights
Subject to legal limits, you may request access or correction via info@tekvwa.org. Serious complaints may be escalated to the Nigeria Data Protection Commission as applicable.
